¿Cómo empezasteis en esto?
Como de costumbre el hombre ! Ciro, Ray y yo (Dome) venimos de diferentes experiencias y empezamos este nuevo proyecto en 2004 , en realidad el nombre de FACE YOUR ENEMY salió a finales de 2005 principios del 2006 . La primera canción fue " From dusk till dawn " . Tuvimos varios cambios en la formacion.A día de hoy esta es la formacion oficial aunque una gran cantidad de amigos nos ayudan si los necesitamos ! Es algo inusual para una banda, pero está bien , ya que cada uno de nosotros vive en una parte diferente de Italia!
Las letras y la actitud son siempre los mismos , pero el sonido y las voces se hicieron más personales en los últimos tres años. La inspiración siempre ha venido de las mismas cosas: Rap , Hardcore , obras maestras y metal , pero lo hacemos con nuestro propio estilo , Pizza Style!
¿ Cuales son vuestras principales influencias? ( Dentro y fuera de Hardcore )
Dentro del Hardcore : Madball , Fury of Five , Shattered Realm , H2O, Biohazard , Terror , Good Riddance , Deez Nuts , Folsom, Furious Styles , Lagwagon , Embrace by Hatred,Straight Opposition, Backfire, No Turning Back, Purification....podria continuar durante años.
Fuera del Hardcore : películas italianas de los años 70 y 80 que aún nos inspiran , películas de Tarantino y Rodríguez ' , los zombis y películas Cannibal ! Cosas de lo 90 como las tortugas ninja! Stallone, Steven Seagal y Van Damme ! Nuestras tradiciones del sur de Italia! Pizza! Metal y música Rap y por supuesto los tatuajes , skate y cultura escrita!
Después " Do The Right Thing " en el 2012, que nos espera ahora?
Yes man! DTRT era un gran álbum para nosotros! Nos representa de la mejor manera ! Las canciones de este álbum están realmente llenas de pasión y groove ! Hemos tocado en todas partes y por primera vez hemos sentimos la energía de la gente ! Para nosotros esto significa que están captando nuestro mensaje !
¿Que es el Pizza Style?
Ya sabes, en cada álbum estaba buscando una frase para hacer nuestras algunas palabras típicas utilizadas en la escena hardcore! Así que en "Losing Control" Hice un robo del " NY style " de Madball ! Así fue como nació el "Pizza Style" , ahahahah ... El significado es que somos sólo una banda de hxc italiano que escucha Madball y Sick of it All comiendo pizza! Por lo general, yo canto también " Arriba ! Arriba ! " o " Andale , Andale " pero creo que es mexicano no español ! Es así? Eheheh !
Habéis recibido alguna crítica negativa por ser unos tipos divertidos? (¿ Divertente en italiano ¿? )
Divertente ! Ehehehe ... Creo que no es una crítica, sino un elogio ! De todos modos , incluso si alguien nos ve ridículos nuestro mensaje es positivo y serio! Si quieres mi punto de vista personal , creo que un chico duro que no es duro realmente es más divertido que nosotros, ahahahahah !
¿Cual es el papel de la CBC (Caserta Beatdown Commando ) en vuestras vidas ?
CBC es nuestra vida, man! Significa Caserta ( nuestra ciudad ) , Beatdown , ( la actitud ) , Clan ( la familia ) Lo hicimos para mantener la unión con nuestros amigos, hermanos y hermanas. Está formado por pocas pero, buenas personas que tienen la misma forma de vida y de la pasión : la música, tatuajes y hardcore . Nuestra unidad es tan fuerte que también personas de otras partes de Italia tienen el logo CBC tatuado ! Somos personas muy productivas y creativas y nos apoyamos unos a otros de cualquier manera posible!
Horny Trash no es sólo música, hablamos de todo , ¿Estais conectados con el mundo del tatuaje? ¿ Alguno sois tatuador?
Yes man, en la crew tenemos dos grandes artistas del tatuaje italianos ! Compruebalo en instagram o en Facebook ! Son Klem Diglio y Gianluca Fusco y ambos tocan en Still In Da Game! Klem a veces toca también en Face your Enemy.
Caserta está cerca de Napoles, Todo lo que sabemos por aquí de Napoles es Camorra y SCC Napoli . ¿Cómo se vive con la Camorra ?
Quiero darte las gracias por esta pregunta ! Napoli ! Si tu nunca has visto esta ciudad, hay que verla al menos una vez antes de morir ! Todo el sur de Italia está poco desarrollado debido a las injusticias del pasado y esta es la razón por la cual nació la Camorra.
Especialmente en la zona de Caserta la Camorra fue muy destructiva debido al negocio ilegal de la gestion de residuos industriales y nucleares . Nuestra tierra esta muy contaminada y el gobierno italiano mantiene esta oculto para evitar la revolución social. Mientras tanto los niños , familiares y amigos mueren por el cáncer todos los días , esto es muy triste y te hace sentirse impotente ! Con música y pasión tratamos de defender nuestros derechos y nuestra vida ! No vamos a parar hasta que muramos ! Esto es Toxic Vendetta!
Hoy creo que no se puede hablar de la escena hardcore! Es demasiado "global" y todo esta enfrentado con todo! Me encanta cuando las personas apoyan a sus bandas locales y esto, en Italia, es muy raro! Tratamos de apoyar todas las bandas italianas y europeas , ya que están muy infravalorados ! ¿Es difícil vivir en el sur de Italia en esta época de crisis?
En realidad, yo vivo en Milán , en el norte de Italia! Soy un inmigrante ! El sur de Italia es conocida por la gran cantidad de inmigrantes que dejaron sus lugares de origen para encontrar fortuna en Estados Unidos, Europa , Australia , Norte de Italia o en cualquier otro lugar ! Me entristece pensar que la situación está poniendo peor en estos momentos duros.
¿Que tal vuestra experiencia en España ? Vuestro concieto en Madrid estuvo de puta madre! ¿Quereis volver pronto ?
Hey man ! No te mentiría si te digo que el show en Madrid fue uno de lo mejores que hemos dado en nuestra vida. Estábamos muy felices de compartir el escenario con un montón de grandes bandas y conocer a Ernest y toda la CHC ! Dimos todo lo mejor encima y debajo del escenario! Queremos volver a Madrid y tal vez recorrer la España ! Estén atentos que estamos trabajando en ello ! La entrega de Pizza Style está en camino !

How you started in this?
As usual man! Me(Dome), Ciro and Ray came from different experiences and we started this new thing in 2004, actually the name Face Your Enemy came out at the end of 2005 early 2006. The first song was "From dusk till dawn". We had several changes in the line up. Still today there is an official line up but a lot of fiends help us out if we need it! It's something unusual for a band but it's cool because each one of us lives in a different part of Italy!
Since 2005. How has it changed the sound of the band?
The lyrics and the attitude are always the same but the sound and the vocals became more personal in the last 3 years. The inspirations came always from the same things: Rap, Hardcore, masterpieces and Metal, but we do it with our own style, Pizza style!
What are your main influences? (Inside and outside Hardcore) Inside Hardcore: Madball, Fury of Five, Shattered Realm, H2O, Biohazard, Terror, Good Riddance, Deez Nuts, Folsom, Furious Styles, Lagwagon, Embrace By Hatred, Straight Opposition, Backfire, No Turning Back, Purification...I could go on for years!
Outside Hardcore: Italian movies of the 70's and 80's that still inspire us, Tarantino’s and Rodriguez’ movies, Zombies and Cannibal movies! The 90's stuff like Ninja turtles! Stallone, Steven Seagal and Van Damme! Our traditions from south Italy! Pizza! Metal and Rap music and of course tattoos, skate and writing culture!
After "Do The Right Thing" in 2012, what we expect now?
Yes man! DTRT was a great album for us! It represents us in the best way! The songs of that album are really full of passion and groove! We have played it everywhere and for the first time we felt the energy of the people! For us this means that they get our message!
Now we are going to drop a new EP called "Toxic Vendetta"!, a tribute to the "Toxic Avenger" of the cult Troma movie! It's an evolution of DTRT! The music is more thug and the lyrics are written in our dialect mixed with english! I think we are the first hxc band to sing like this! What is Pizza style?
You know, in every album I was lookin’ for a sentence to make ours some typical words used in the hardcore scene! So in "losing control" I made a rip-off of the Madball "NY Style"! So the "Pizza Style" was born, ahahahah... The meaning is that we are just an Italian hxc band who listens Madball and Sick of it All eating a pizza! Usually I sing also "Ariba! Ariba!" or "Andale, Andale" but I think is Mexican not Spanish! is't it? Eheheh!!!
Have you received any negative critique for being a funny band? (¿?Divertente en italiano?¿)
Divertente!!! Ehehehe...I think it's not a critique but a compliment! Anyway, even if to someone we look ridicolous our message is positive and serious! If you want my personal point of view, I think that a thug guy who is not really tough is funnier than us, ahahahahah!!!
What is the role of CBC (Caserta Beatdown Commando) in your lifes?¿
CBC is our life man! It means Caserta (our city), Beatdown, (the attitude), Clan (the familia). We made it to keep tight to our friends, brothers and sisters. It's made by few but good people who have the same way of life and passion: music, tattoo and hardcore. Our unity is so strong that also people from other parts of Italy have the CBC logo tattooed! We are very productive and creative people and help each other out in any way!
Horny Trash is not only music, we talk about everything,Are you connected to the world of tattoo? ¿it's just a hobby or are any tattoo artist?
Yes man: in the crew we have two great italian tattoo artists! Check them out on instagram or FB! They are Klem Diglio and Gianluca Fusco and both play in Still In Da Game! Klem sometimes plays also in Face Your Enemy.
Caserta is near Napoles, All we know of around here is Napoles Camorra and SCC Napoli. How you live with the Camorra?
I wanna thank you for this question! Napoli! If you have never seen this city you must see it at least once before you die! All the south of Italy is underdeveloped because of the injustices of the past and this is the reason why the Camorra was born!
Expecially in the Caserta area the Camorra was really destructive because of the industrial and nuclear wastes illegal business. Our land is hi-polluted and the Italian government keeps this hidden to avoid social revolution. In the meantime children, relatives and friends die by cancer everyday and this is really sad cuz u feel powerless! With the music and the passion we try to defend our rights and lives! We won't stop till we die! This is the Toxic Vendetta!
What is your vision of Hardcore scene?
Today I think you can't talk about hardcore scene! We are too "global" and everything is the opposite of
everything! I love when the people support their local bands and this, in Italy, is very rare! We try to support
all the Italian and European bands because they are very undervalued! Our favourite bands and scenes

Actually I live in Milan in the north of Italy! I'm an immigrant! South Italy is known for the huge quantity of immigrants who left their native places to find fortune in Usa, Europe, Australia, North Italy or somewhere else! I’m sad to think that the situation is gettin’ worst in this hard times.
How about your experience by Spain? Your show in Madrid was fucking great!!!! Do you wish to return soon?
Hey man! I don't lie when I say that the show in Madrid was one of the best thing that happened in my life! We were really happy to share the stage with a lot of great bands and know Ernest and al the CHC! We gave all the best on and down the stage! We wish to come back in Madrid and maybe to tour the Spain! Stay tuned cuz we are workin’ on it! Pizza Style delivery is on the way!
